Matalegion Consulting Group- Task Force Division
The Luxury Task Force Managers will assist full-service, and luxury/ultra-luxury hotel properties. This position will actively serve on the leadership team for Hotel Operations and contribute to the success and growth of the Hotel. This role includes stepping into management-level roles for hotels in the absence of current management, training new managers, and developing management and line-level team members. Task Force Managers will ensure the hotels' smooth and efficient operation, maintaining high service standards, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations of assigned hotel properties or Department to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve operational excellence.
Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and expense control.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.
Interim General Management:
Step into the role of General Manager in the absence of permanent management.
Address and resolve any immediate operational issues or challenges.
Provide leadership and support to hotel staff, ensuring continuity of operations.
Training and Development:
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new General Managers and management team members.
Mentor and coach management staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Create and implement succession planning strategies to ensure leadership continuity.
Guest Satisfaction:
Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining service quality standards.
Address guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
Monitor and respond to guest reviews and feedback on various platforms.
Staff Management:
Supervise, motivate, and develop hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure proper staffing levels to meet operational needs.
Financial Management:
Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to achieve financial goals.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships effectively.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and submit regular reports on hotel performance
Communicate effectively with the Director of Hotel Operations.
Attend and contribute to regular management meetings.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, or at least 10 (ten) years of proven experience in Leadership.
Minimum of 8 (eight) years of experience in hotel management, at least 10 (ten) years as a General Manager or equivalent role for General Manager roles
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel frequently (100%) and adapt to different hotel environments.
Proficient in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of hotel financial statements.
Commitment to delivering excellent guest service and operational efficiency.
Hilton/Marriott/Hyatt/IHG Brand experience is a MUST.
Forbes/AAA Diomand/FHR knowledge of standards REQUIRED for all Full service- Ulta LUX TF Managers
