About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) for both 1099 contractor and direct hire roles to work in varied healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and specialty centers.
As a Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) with The Matalegion Group, you will provide high-quality patient care across different healthcare facilities. You’ll have the opportunity to work in settings that require your expertise to support patient recovery, provide emergency care, and manage ongoing treatment needs. Choose from flexible 1099 contractor roles or full-time direct hire positions, with assignments that allow for travel to various healthcare environments nationwide.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Monitoring: Provide comprehensive nursing care, conduct patient assessments, and deliver treatments based on facility protocols and patient needs.
Emergency & Critical Response: Respond to medical emergencies, assist in stabilizing patients, and collaborate with facility teams to coordinate further care as required.
Medication Administration & Documentation: Administer medications and treatments accurately, document patient progress, and ensure adherence to healthcare standards and protocols.
Collaboration with Facility Teams: Work alongside healthcare providers and facility staff to develop and follow individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and high standards of care.
Adaptability Across Facilities: Travel to different healthcare facilities, adapting to each location’s requirements, policies, and patient populations for the duration of each assignment.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of assignment, with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure as needed.
Minimum of 2-5 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for experience in clinical, emergency, or acute care settings.
Current BLS/CPR certification; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) are advantageous depending on assignment requirements.
Strong Communication Skills to work effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families in varied clinical environments.
Willingness to Travel: Flexibility for travel assignments, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and facility demands.
